Your first session is a comprehensive one-on-one assessment — not a quick scan and adjustment. We analyze how your spine, joints, and muscles move and compensate, evaluate your posture and biomechanics, and run orthopedic and neurological testing where needed. You receive hands-on treatment the same visit. You leave knowing exactly what’s wrong, why it happened, and what the plan is to fix it. No vague answers. Just clarity.

No referral is needed for chiropractic care, physiotherapy, or massage therapy at Pure Alignment. You can book directly online through our booking system or call us at 905-850-0707. Some extended health insurance plans may require a physician referral for reimbursement — check your specific plan if this applies to you.
How long is my first appointment? Initial chiropractic and physiotherapy appointments are one hour. This gives your provider enough time to complete a thorough assessment and deliver hands-on treatment in the same visit. Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes. Massage therapy appointments are booked based on your preferred session length — typically 30, 45, 60, or 90 minutes.
Yes. Pure Alignment direct bills to all major extended health insurance providers in Ontario including Sun Life, Manulife, Green Shield, Blue Cross, Desjardins, and more. You do not need to pay out of pocket and wait for reimbursement. If you are unsure whether your plan covers your service call us before booking and we will help you confirm your coverage.
Yes. Pure Alignment accepts Motor Vehicle Accident cases under chiropractic care through HCAI. WSIB workplace injury cases are accepted under both chiropractic and physiotherapy. Same-day appointments are available for MVA and WSIB patients — do not wait to start your recovery. We handle all documentation and insurer coordination from your very first visit.
Every case is different and your provider will give you an honest, specific answer after your initial assessment based on your actual findings — not a generic estimate. What we can tell you is that every care plan at Pure Alignment has a clear structure, defined reassessment milestones, and a goal of getting you better as efficiently as possible. We do not recommend treatment beyond what your body genuinely needs.
Both. Your initial appointment includes a comprehensive full-body movement assessment followed by hands-on treatment during the same session. You will not leave your first visit having only filled out forms and answered questions — you will leave having received real treatment and with complete clarity on your diagnosis, your care plan, and your path forward.
What if I have been to other chiropractors or physiotherapists before and did not get results? That is actually one of the most common things we hear from new patients. The difference at Pure Alignment is the depth of assessment and the specificity of the treatment plan that follows. If previous care did not deliver lasting results it is almost always because the root cause was never properly identified or addressed. Bring any
previous reports, imaging, or notes from prior treatment — the more context we have the better equipped we are to find what was missed and build a plan that actually works.
What is the cancellation policy? Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We ask for a minimum of 24 hours notice so we can offer your time to another patient who needs care. Late cancellations and no-shows may be subject to a fee.
